Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last Updated: July 15, 2026
This notice explains how customers and website visitors may request that Urbanixity stop selling or sharing their personal information where such rights are provided under applicable United States privacy laws.
This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
For purposes of this notice, “sale,” “share,” “targeted advertising,” and “cross-context behavioral advertising” have the meanings assigned to them under the applicable privacy law.
1. Our Position on Selling Personal Information
Urbanixity does not sell customer personal information to data brokers or other parties in exchange for money.
We do not intentionally sell information such as customer names, delivery addresses, telephone numbers, complete payment-card details, account passwords, or customer-support communications for monetary payment.
However, certain United States privacy laws define “sale” more broadly than a traditional monetary sale and may include transferring personal information in exchange for another form of valuable consideration.
Where such a broad legal definition applies, eligible individuals may use the methods on this page to submit an opt-out request.
2. What “Sharing” May Mean
Under certain privacy laws, “sharing” may include disclosing personal information to another party for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cross-context behavioral advertising generally means displaying or measuring advertisements based on a person’s activity across multiple websites, applications, businesses, or services.
This type of sharing may occur through cookies, pixels, advertising identifiers, conversion tags, local storage, or similar technologies where advertising and measurement services are enabled.
3. Personal Information That May Be Involved
Depending on the technologies enabled on Urbanixity.com and the choices made through our cookie-preference tool, the following categories may be processed or shared for advertising or measurement:
- IP address
- Cookie identifiers
- Browser or device identifiers
- Browser and operating-system information
- Approximate location derived from an IP address
- Pages and products viewed
- Referring website or advertising source
- Advertising clicks and campaign interactions
- Cart, checkout, and purchase-conversion events
- Inferences relating to shopping interests or advertising audiences
- Limited contact or transaction data used for conversion measurement, where an enhanced measurement feature is enabled and legally permitted
The precise information processed depends on the website tools, advertising settings, consent preferences, device, browser, and applicable service configuration.
4. Categories of Recipients
Where optional advertising or measurement technologies are enabled, information may be received by categories of parties such as:
- Advertising networks
- Advertising measurement providers
- Data analytics providers
- Social-media advertising platforms
- Operating-system or browser platforms
- Providers that help prevent advertising fraud
Depending on the tools enabled, these recipients may include Google, Meta, or other advertising and analytics providers.
Each provider may process information according to its own terms, privacy policy, security procedures, and applicable contractual restrictions.
5. Business-Purpose Disclosures
Urbanixity may disclose personal information to service providers, contractors, or business partners where reasonably necessary to:
- Operate the WordPress and WooCommerce store
- Process payments and refunds
- Prevent fraud and secure transactions
- Fulfill and deliver customer orders
- Provide shipment tracking
- Send order-related communications
- Provide customer support
- Maintain website functionality and security
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements
For example, customer names and addresses may be shared with shipping carriers so that products can be delivered.
These necessary operational disclosures are not intended for cross-context behavioral advertising and may not constitute a “sale” or “sharing” where the recipient is contractually restricted and acting as a qualifying service provider or contractor under applicable law.
6. Submit an Opt-Out Request
You may request that Urbanixity stop selling or sharing your personal information for qualifying advertising purposes.
You do not need to create a customer account or make a purchase to submit an opt-out request.
For an email request, use the following subject:
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information Request
Please provide only the information reasonably needed to process the request:
- Full name
- Email address associated with your order or website interaction, where applicable
- State and country of residence
- A clear statement that you wish to opt out of sale or sharing
- Order number only where relevant to identify an associated customer record
7. Cookie and Advertising Preferences
Visitors may manage optional analytics and advertising technologies through the Cookie Settings or Manage Cookie Preferences option provided through Urbanixity’s cookie banner or website footer.
Where applicable, rejecting advertising cookies should prevent new advertising cookies and tags from being activated for that browser or device.
Deleting existing cookies after submitting an opt-out request may remove the browser record used to remember the preference. Visitors may need to select their preference again after deleting cookies or using a different browser or device.
Cookie controls must not be treated as the only opt-out method where an applicable law requires a separate sale or sharing opt-out process.
8. Global Privacy Control
Global Privacy Control, also known as GPC, is a browser-based preference signal through which a user may communicate an opt-out request.
Where Urbanixity receives a recognized opt-out preference signal and applicable law requires it, the signal will be treated as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the applicable browser or device.
Where Urbanixity can reasonably associate the browser or device with a known customer profile, the request may also be applied to that associated profile as required by applicable law.
The absence of a GPC signal after a previous opt-out request will not by itself be treated as consent to opt back in.
GPC and other recognized opt-out preference signals must be technically detected and respected by Urbanixity’s consent-management and advertising systems where required.
9. Processing Time
Urbanixity will implement an eligible opt-out request as soon as reasonably feasible and, where California law applies, no later than 15 business days after receipt.
We may send confirmation after the request has been processed.
Where required, relevant third parties receiving information during the applicable processing period may also be notified of the request.
10. Identification and Verification
An opt-out request does not normally require the same identity verification process used for access or deletion requests.
Urbanixity will not require a person to create an account merely to submit an opt-out request.
We may request limited additional information only where reasonably necessary to:
- Identify the applicable customer, browser, device, or record
- Prevent fraud or unauthorized changes
- Resolve conflicting privacy preferences
- Confirm an authorized agent’s authority
Any additional information collected for this purpose will be used only for processing the privacy request, security, fraud prevention, and legally required recordkeeping.
11. Authorized Agents
Where permitted by applicable law, an authorized agent may submit an opt-out request on behalf of an eligible individual.
Urbanixity may request signed written permission showing that the individual authorized the agent to act on their behalf.
We may deny a request submitted by an agent who cannot provide reasonable proof of authorization.
Urbanixity will not require unnecessary information that is unrelated to confirming the agent’s authority or identifying the applicable record.
12. Children Under 16
Urbanixity.com is intended for a general adult shopping audience.
Urbanixity does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age for cross-context behavioral advertising without the affirmative authorization required by applicable law.
Where Urbanixity becomes aware that information involving an individual under 16 was processed in a manner requiring authorization, we will take reasonable steps to stop the applicable processing and address the information.
A parent or legal guardian may contact info@urbanixity.com with an applicable concern.
13. Sensitive Personal Information
Urbanixity does not use sensitive personal information to infer customer characteristics or for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Information required for account security, payment processing, fraud prevention, order delivery, customer service, and legal compliance is used only for those reasonably necessary purposes.
Urbanixity does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers, card security codes, or online banking passwords on its WordPress website servers.
Where applicable law provides a separate right to limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information and Urbanixity begins using such information for a purpose requiring that right, this notice and the website’s privacy controls will be updated.
14. Non-Discrimination
Urbanixity will not unlawfully discriminate against an eligible individual for exercising a privacy right.
Exercising a valid privacy right will not by itself result in:
- Denial of products or customer service
- A different product price
- A penalty or additional fee
- A lower level of customer service
- Retaliation for making the request
Certain optional website functions, personalization, analytics, or advertising features may become unavailable after optional cookies or processing activities are disabled.
15. Opting Back In
An individual who has opted out may later choose to opt back in through an explicit and affirmative request.
Urbanixity will not treat continued website browsing, closing a banner, silence, or inactivity as consent to opt back in.
Where California law applies, Urbanixity will not request authorization to opt back in to the same sale or sharing activities for at least 12 months after the opt-out request, except where otherwise permitted by law.
16. Categories Sold or Shared During the Previous 12 Months
| Activity | Categories Potentially Involved | Purpose or Recipient |
|---|---|---|
| Sold for money | None | Urbanixity does not sell customer personal information to another party in exchange for money. |
| Shared for cross-context advertising | Online identifiers, browser or device data, approximate location, internet activity, advertising interactions, conversion events, and related inferences where enabled | Advertising, analytics, measurement, campaign attribution, audience creation, and fraud-prevention providers |
| Disclosed for business purposes | Contact, order, transaction, shipping, account, customer-support, security, and technical information | Payment processors, carriers, fulfillment providers, hosting services, security providers, tracking services, customer-support providers, and professional advisers |
The categories described above apply only where the corresponding service or technology was actually enabled during the relevant period.
17. Additional Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law and the individual’s location, additional rights may include:
- Requesting access to personal information
- Requesting correction of inaccurate information
- Requesting deletion of eligible information
- Requesting a portable copy of certain information
- Opting out of targeted advertising
- Limiting qualifying use of sensitive personal information
- Appealing the denial of an eligible privacy request
Access, correction, deletion, portability, or other privacy requests may require reasonable identity verification and may have different response periods from an opt-out request.
Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
18. Recordkeeping
Where required by applicable law, Urbanixity may retain a limited record of a privacy request and our response for at least 24 months.
The record may include:
- Date the request was received
- Type of request
- Submission method
- Date and nature of our response
- Reason for any complete or partial denial
Privacy-request records will be used for compliance, security, fraud-prevention, auditing, and maintaining the individual’s preference.
19. Updates to This Notice
Urbanixity may update this notice to reflect changes in:
- United States privacy laws
- Website technologies
- Advertising and analytics providers
- Cookie and consent settings
- Privacy-request procedures
- Business operations
Any revised version will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Where legally required, Urbanixity will obtain consent before beginning a materially different sale, sharing, advertising, or data-processing activity.
